Bear Spirit

The Bear Spirit represents strength, courage, vitality, family, and health. Bears are seen as thoughtful and independent, embodying resilience and self-reliance. They are revered for their power and ability to thrive with little need for companionship.

Mi'kmaq history and culture are deeply rooted in the natural world, with spirituality closely tied to the environment. Located in Eastern Canada, primarily in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and parts of Quebec, the Mi'kmaq people emphasize the importance of living a good, balanced life. They believe this entails respecting and protecting the earth and maintaining harmony with all living beings. This connection to nature is reflected in their traditions, teachings, and daily practices.
