Created by Art Sterritt (Myanxa), a Gitxsan artist from Prince Rupert, BC.

Art Sterritt trained as a carver and printmaker at 'Ksan, an historic village, museum, and art school near the former village of Gitanmaax, from 1970 to 1972 under established Gitxsan artists Walter Harris and Earl Muldoe. He continues to create ceremonial headdresses and totem poles for the Gitxsan and Wet’suwet’en peoples, bringing precision, cultural knowledge, and artistry to every piece.
