Tom Whonnock is a 'Namgis First Nation artist from Alert Bay, BC. He was born in 1955, and began woodcarving at the age of 15. Tom honed his craft under Godfrey Hunt. He works in pine, and creates plaques, masks, trays, bowls and totem poles.
