Dean White is a Snuneymuxw (Coast Salish) artist from Nanaimo, British Columbia. Drawing inspiration from his deep connection to the land and sea through hunting and fishing, he learned his craft under the guidance of respected artists Louise Bob and James Johnny. His work reflects both traditional teachings and a strong personal relationship to Coast Salish culture.
